In July 2022, Minnesota legalized the sale of hemp-derived THC edibles containing up to 5 milligrams of delta-8 and delta-9 THC per serving, with a maximum of 50 mg per package (delta-8 and delta-9 are variations of intoxicating THC). Many localities are taking action to regulate these products, including moratoriums on the sale of THC and regulation through comprehensive licensing structures.
