Marisa Katz provides legal technical assistance on commercial tobacco control issues to public health organizations, legal professionals, and advocates in Minnesota and throughout the United States.

Prior to joining the Public Health Law Center, Marisa was a partner at a Minneapolis law firm representing clients primarily in complex and class action litigation on behalf of consumers and employees in federal and state courts nationwide. Earlier in her career, Marisa was a staff attorney at Southeast Louisiana Legal Services, Inc., where she provided civil legal aid, advocacy, and community education to low-income individuals in New Orleans and southeast Louisiana.
