Kelly McAnnany leads the New York Technical Assistance work in commercial tobacco control for the Public Health Law Center, which provides legal technical assistance on commercial tobacco control issues to public health professionals and organizations, legal professionals, and advocates in New York.

Kelly's background is in civil and human rights law. Among other experiences, she worked for nearly a decade as a community lawyer at a non-profit law firm in New York City specializing in the areas of disability law, immigrant rights and racial justice. Prior to joining the Public Health Law Center, she served as executive director of a health advocacy organization dedicated to expanding health insurance coverage and reducing health disparities in Minnesota. Kelly has substantial policy experience, particularly in the areas of health policy and access to health care.
