California, Colorado, Illinois, and Oregon have made significant progress towards achieving a vision of access to comprehensive, affordable health care for all, and these case studies describe their progress, including: data about the state’s immigrant populations, and their access to health care coverage; the policy approach; key components of laws, including actionable and innovative provisions, and limits; actual or expected outcomes; political pushback; related laws; and key takeaways and lessons learned to help inform efforts in Minnesota and other states.
