Desmond Jenson is the Deputy Director of the Commercial Tobacco Control Program at the Public Health Law Center. Desmond supports the Director in leading the team of attorneys working to support tobacco control policy change. He coordinates with local, state, Tribal, national, and global public health leaders, providing strategic leadership on law and policy change as well as litigation impacting commercial tobacco control. Desmond also works closely with scientists, consulting on the development of research as well as writing manuscripts, to build an evidence base for legally-defensible tobacco control policies.
