To reduce e-cigarette use and strengthen measures to control the vaping epidemic, states and local jurisdictions have many policy options. This webinar will provide an overview of policies that states and local jurisdictions can adopt to regulate e-cigarettes.
The session will:
- Briefly describe the federal and state regulatory background of e-cigarettes
- Overview an exciting new Policy Playbook for E-cigarettes created by the;University of North Carolina's Vaping Prevention Resource and the Public Health Law Center.
- Review key policies covered in the playbook and describe Santa Barbara, California's implementation of several of these policies and the backstory behind their adoption.
