Carolina Saavedra is a staff attorney with the Public Health Law Center's Commercial Tobacco Control Program.
Prior to joining the Public Health Law Center, Carolina worked as an immigration attorney in DC metro area, and subsequently in the North Bay Area of San Francisco. She represented clients in affirmative applications before the Department of Homeland Security, and in removal proceedings before the Department of Justice, focusing on family- and humanitarian-based applications for relief. She is fluent in Spanish and conversational in French.
